East Texas Comic Con welcomes its 3rd year of growth as the leading comic convention in the area. Disability Comic Con was there to see vendors, meet special guests, and enjoy the best cosplayers in the area.

Kerry Smith has a discussion with Disability Comic Con about his coming of age comic book about a young girl navigating through life on the autism spectrum. This unique comic book explores her world using a haiku poetry. Susan lives in a nontraditional household and copes with understanding the intricates of life in regards to living in a single parent household, attending new schools, making friends, going to therapy and much more.
